How do I reserve a free pass through Ralston Baright Public Library?

Visit Ralstonlibrary.org and read the terms and availability for each venue by clicking on the venue's name.

Call or visit the Ralston Library to reserve a pass. Be sure to have your library barcode ready.

Each venue will specify how many individuals a pass will admit.

Each venue will require you to present your BPL card alongside the pass.

How do I return a pass to the Ralston Baright Public Library?

Passes must be returned by midnight of the day the pass was checked out. The pass can be returned in the outside book drop or inside at the Circulation Desk.

If the pass is not returned by midnight it is a $10.00 a day fee until returned. If the pass is lost, patron may pay up to the cost of the membership for the venue.

How do I cancel or change a pass reservation?

Call BPL to cancel the existing reservation (before the date of the pass) and check if another date is available.

You can call the library to cancel the pass any time before 5 pm the day before the pass is reserved. You may not cancel later than 5 pm of the day before the reservation. The pass will count as “used” and count against your use limits.

What are the restrictions on passes?

An active BPL library card is required to reserve a pass. Your account must be active and have under $10 in fees or any other blocks (such as pending address verification).

The passes are not available on days that the library is closed.

Please see the terms for each venue on BPL’s (add website page) for information such as the number of people admitted per pass or the number of passes allowed per family/household. There are also limits on how often an individual may claim a pass.

How frequently may I reserve a pass for the same venue?

You may reserve a pass for the same venue every 30 days.

If you have previously reserved a pass, you must wait 30 days before you can reserve another pass for the same venue.

Reserved but unused passes are considered checked out. Unused passes apply to this 30-day wait period.

If you are 18 or over and your account is in good standing, you are eligible to reserve one pass per venue per 30 days. Passes for different venues may be reserved on the same day.

Reserved but unused passes are considered checked out. Unused passes apply toward check-out limits.

Why can I only check out one pass at a time to each venue?

Baright Public Library has a limited supply of membership passes and would like to share the experience with as many library users as possible.
